Day 93 of the challenge! Trainspotting (another one of my list titles) is the heroin fueled fever dream I didn't know I needed to see. This movie is a brutally insane series of loosely connected events and periods in our main character's life (and his realistically portrayed struggle with drug abuse), all set to some awesome 90s punk tunes. I've heard it compared to Pulp Fiction a few times, and I can see why. It has a killer soundtrack and is completely unapologetic in it's humor (which was a bit too dark at times even for me). Don't get me wrong though, it's a great film, just not for the faint of heart or stomach. Trainspotting will make you gag and cringe as much as it'll make you laugh. Totally worth a watch if you think you can handle it. I can't wait to see the second one!
