Day 131 of the challenge! The 'Burbs was such an incredibly fun time! Rarely do they make them like this these days. It's a super simple dark comedy/mystery that takes place entirely within a cul-de-sac. The only thing keeping the film going (and working) is a cast of eccentric neighbors and all the hilariously over the top and sight gag heavy situations they keep making for themselves. There's also quotable lines of hilarious dialogue for days, all laced with a cynical (but somehow still affectionate) perspective about "suburbanites" and the suburban living mentality as a whole. Totally recommend it if you haven't seen it!
