My Life as a Zucchini (2017) - 365 Movie Challenge Day 51

Day 51 of the challenge! I remember the first time I saw the trailer for My Life as a Zucchini. I thought, "I need to see that!" Of course, I missed it in it's super short run at my local Alamo Drafthouse, but I finally (and happily) got to it! My Life as a Zucchini is a super quirky and beautiful stop motion flick with a lot of heart.

So I should mention, as wonderful and colorful as this film is, it isn't a kid's movie.  There's some pretty heavy stuff going on here, but that's what I loved most about My Life as a Zucchini. It engages with these heavy and adult themes from the innocent perspective of children, making it hilarious at some points, and down right depressing in others. Totally worth a watch!

Day 51 out, 317 to go....
