Day 52 of the challenge! Came across Mike Judge's Extract the other night. I love Office Space and King of the Hill, so I figured this one would be worth a watch. While it does have a few funny moments of that awkward Judge humor I was expecting, Extract is pretty tame and doesn't have too many memorable moments. Worth a few laughs, but nothing to call home about.
I don't have too much to say about this one. I love Mike Judge's mastery of finding humor in the mundane and uninteresting, but I feel there wasn't much of a point to Extract. Plenty of promising setups and messages (like the light commentary on suburban living and blue collar work), but none of them really went anywhere. The movie just sort of fizzles out in the end. Again, worth it for some laughs, but it's no Office Space for sure.
