Day 146 of the challenge! Madre had a great start, then quickly crashed and burned. Madre kept me on edge at the beginning with it's emotional hook and creepy follow through. The plot was slow burning, but intriguing, building up as it went along. Somewhere along the way, however, it started getting littered with logic and script issues. Several sub-plots and characters were introduced, only to be forgotten with no explanation or purpose. Characters suddenly started acting in illogical ways that frustrated to no end. The worst offender is easily the rushed ending, filled with plenty of shock value but no payoff. I'd say move along from this one.
