Day 124 of the challenge! Killer Legends is a neat look at urban legends and the true crimes that might have inspired them. But as interesting as this approach was, I feel it ultimately bogged the film down with needless investigations that went nowhere. Half the time the "researchers" would be trying to solve a decades old murder or some other crime before putting the focus back on the urban legends they supposedly inspired. This made Killer Legends feel like 2 documentaries (one about urban legends and one about crimes) stitched into one, where each was constantly at odds with the other. Still, when the focus was on the legends themselves, the film totally worked. Worth a watch next time you need a late night horror fix.
