Day 202 of the challenge! I love certain aspects of the animated Wonder Woman more than the Gal Gadot one!
Liked:
- Keri Russell, Nathan Fillion and Alfred Molina (amongst others)?! Amazing voice cast!
- The sense of scope is impressive for a fairly short film. You really feel the stakes.
- Humorous commentary on gender norms and misogynistic behavior.
- This one really played up (and had fun with) the Greek mythology. Undead armies, magic, literal trips to hell, etc. I would like to see more of this in the live action realm.
Didn't like:
- Too short. Seems to be an issue for me with most DC animated flicks. I feel more relationships and interactions can be further explored with a few more minutes of run time, allowing these stories to end with a more satisfying resolution.
