Day 122 of the challenge! Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell today, and well.... at least we'll always have the first two. Maybe three. The Tremors franchise (which I love I'd like to point out) is officially out of steam (well, it ran out about three movies ago, but you know what I mean). Gone are the fun and cheesy glory days when the franchise really stood out as a unique series of clever creature features that were both hilarious and pretty darn scary! The days where the tension would be wound so tight you didn't dare make a noise, only for it to be released with a well timed joke or sight gag before moving on. Now, we have a self parody of those days that replaces the cheese with unbearable camp and bad jokes, and the tension with uninteresting exposition that fails to justify why this new particular movie exists. Michael Gross and Burt Gummer deserve so much better! Move along and just watch the originals!
