Day 255 of the challenge! Tales From the Crypt has some awesome and campy chills! Such a fun horror anthology!
It’s not the prettiest or most stylistic horror movie out there, but that doesn’t stop Tales From the Crypt from being incredibly memorable. Without spoiling any of them, Tales From the Crypt featured several shocking and gory moments that you’d be hard pressed to forget. Some of the stories are stronger than the others (no surprise there), but overall, it should be a good time for any horror fan.
On a side note, there were plenty of moments that reminded me of other, (arguably) more famous horror stories and films, showing that it’s had an inspiring hand for plenty of filmmakers over the years. Fans of the Creepshow series, Trilogy of Terror, and even the much newer Ghost Stories should find plenty to recognize and love here.
