Day 207 of the challenge! I LOVED Cat's Eye! It's dark, tense, and hilariously silly! New favorite cat movie!
Liked:
- I'm a sucker for horror anthology films, and Cat's Eye is one of the best. I can't get over how great each segment was, with the connection being one stray cat that witnesses each story. They felt like 3 great Twilight Zone episodes.
- Great balance between the horror and comedy. "Quitter's Inc" is insanely bizarre, and hilarious for it. Wanna quit an addiction? Watch that. "The Ledge" is a 180 on the dark comedy (mostly), but manages to be legitimately frightening with it's simple premise. "General" is epic, freaky and heartwarming, and features some AMAZING practical effects. Can't stop geeking out on that one.
- Great easter eggs to other King stories, especially at the beginning.
Didn't like:
- Some of the effects in "The Ledge" are uhhh....questionable. Hard to see why when you watch the effects used in "General".
