Day 115 of the challenge! Accidentally going through Mickey Keating's filmography! Watched Pod last night after watching Darling the other, and while it's not as effective as that one, I still found Pod to be a pretty spooky creature feature. It feels a lot like an old school stand alone episode of The X-Files. There's some great tension and character work built up in the first half that ultimately wavers by the climax. Despite that, Pod is still a neat "cabin in the woods" horror with a twist of soft sci-fi and an excellent paranoid atmosphere.
