Day 7! Decided to keep it light today after how heavy Downsizing was yesterday. Little Evil was (again) one of those movies that seemed destined to stay on my purgatory list. I love me some dark comedy, and overall Little Evil delivered, even if it's kind of wonky.
Director Eli Craig also happens to have directed 2010's Tucker and Dale vs Evil, one of my favorite movies. It totally turns the "evil hillbillies" horror trope on it's head. This time around, Eli Craig does the same to the "devil child" trope (to a much lesser successful extent) in this fun little Omen parody. It's not perfect, but there's no denying how fun these movies can be when messing with genre conventions. I recommend it if you want something light and fun.
