Day 91 of the challenge! I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House is a great Gothic time (even if it is incredibly light on plot). Anyone looking for jump scares, murderous ghosts, a complex mystery, or any other aspect of a traditional and modern haunted house story will probably find this one boring. I'd say the best way to describe Pretty Things is as a narrative poem. There's a haunting quality to the narration that carries the majority of the film that works incredibly well with the just as haunting cinematography and camera work. I totally recommend this one for the next time you want to curl up in a blanket on a dark and rainy afternoon.
