Day 73 of the challenge! Starting to go back in time to some of those classic films that I haven't gotten to or seen in their entirety. House on Haunted Hill is up first, and it lives up to it's legacy. Compared to modern haunted house flicks, House is fairly tame and simple in it's approach. Scary thing happens, you scream at it. But it's that same simplicity that gives the movie that old school, b-movie charm I love so much that most (not all) modern day horror movies lack. That's also not to say House doesn't have a few moments of legitimate horror. If you haven't seen this flick, or have only seen it's god awful 1999 remake, don't be like me and put it off. Watch it and have some campy fun!
