I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017) - 365 Movie Challenge Day 22

Day 22 of the challenge! I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore for today, and I loved it! Picked another winner that appealed to my dark sense of humor and outsider sensibilities. Home is a dark and quirky look at all the toxicity in our current society, from big issues like pollution and urban crime to smaller things like people spoiling book plots or just being general assholes to each other.

Home (I really don't want to type out the entire title) has everything I love from indie dark comedies. It has eccentric (but believable) characters placed into these very bizarre (and usually dangerous) situations. These type of stories tend to have very human moments and messages that usually end with a good emotional payoff.

Is it groundbreaking? No, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a damn good time. Makes me glad we're living in a time where services like Netflix and Amazon allow for these smaller stories to be made and seen by a large audience. Lord knows we don't see nearly enough films like this in theaters.

Day 22 out, 344 to go....
