Day 128 of the challenge! Carnage Park was an interesting watch to say the least. It started off as an interesting enough crime thriller (HEAVILY Tarantino inspired I must add), before turning into a grimy exploitation horror film that quickly ran out of gas. There's shock for the sake of shock, gore for the sake of gore, and not enough story in-between it all to keep it interesting. On the plus side, the technical sides of things are all on the point. The camera work and sound added much needed menace to some legitimate chilling and tense moments (I wish Keating would rely less on rapid hard cuts to disorient in these moments) near the beginning and end. Again though, the overall film isn't interesting enough to really recommend to anyone.
