Day 196 of the challenge! Batman and Bill is a must watch for any Batman or comic book fan.
Liked:
- The documentary does a great job of breaking down Batman's "behind the scenes" history in comics.
- Great breakdown on who both Bob Kane and Bill Finger and their "real" supposed roles in Batman's creation.
- I appreciate the "family mystery" framing in the documentary. Very appropriate for a documentary about Batman.
- Very thorough insight into who Bill Finger was as an individual.
- Great art design.
Didn't like:
- Would have liked more on Bob Kane. The documentary is about Bill Finger, but seeing more from Kane's camp would have been a nice constrast. The documentary would have felt less one sided.
