Day 275 of the challenge! All Hallows' Eve 2 is an overall better collection than the first All Hallows' Eve, but is still a VERY mixed bag.
Well, more bad than mixed I should say. Out of a whopping 9 stories, I only found 3 of them to be any fun or legitimately creepy, each in their own way. I’m also pretty annoyed that not all of the stories featured in a horror anthology called All Hallows' Eve are Halloween stories (with only one of the 3 good ones being Halloween themed).
I can’t recommend All Hallows' Eve 2 to any but the most committed of horror and horror anthology fans. The frame narrative doesn’t connect at all to the rest of the shorts, most of the shorts themselves are terrible or predictable, and it has nothing connecting it to the original All Hallows' Eve, which I found to be a mediocre VHS ripoff and waste of 80 minutes. So no need to watch the original first if you plan on watching this one. Sorry Art The Clown fans.
