Disclaimer: Currently traveling, so it's forced me to cheat and get ahead with the movies. I said stuff like this would happen, so yea... anyway.
Day 16 of the challenge! I had heard good things about What Happened to Monday through the grapevine. Several people had recommended it over the last few months, so I thought it was time to give it a watch. I really enjoyed it I'm glad to say. It's a pretty neat cyber punk sci-fi film that features Willem Dafoe. Enough said, right?
I don't want to give away any details (I went in not knowing anything, and I think that really helped my enjoyment) but I totally recommend What Happened to Monday for anyone that likes action-centric sci-fi movies. Plot wise, it's alright (the twist you can see coming almost immediately), but it's complex enough to have a discussion afterwards.
As mentioned, Willem Dafoe is featured, but the real star is the criminally underrated and more deserving Noomi Rapace, who plays 7 characters who constantly interact with each other. That's all you get, not go watch!
