Day 166 of the challenge! Jack Black needs to do more biopics about con men, because The Polka King is great! It could have been really easy to make this one a satire (based on the subject matter), but The Polka King uses Black's friendly and funny disposition to really make Jan Lewan a character you laugh with (not at) and root for as he stumbles through all the well meaning mistakes he makes throughout the film. This gave the film a very human touch I wasn't expecting. The Polka King is an interesting true story with an interesting (and likable) protagonist, so I'm sure anyone can find something to enjoy with this one!
