Day 24 of the challenge! The Invitation is awesome! Can't recommend it enough! If you love "dinner party from hell" psychological horror/thrillers (especially slow burning ones), this one is for you!
The Invitation works incredibly well at building up the tension. Best way I can describe it is as a long wire, with one end attached to a wall and the other on a crank. The crank keeps on pulling the wire tighter and tighter, so much so that you're nervous to even be around it. You have no idea when it's going to snap, but when it finally does......BAM!!! ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE!
The Invitation went unnoticed to me for such a long time. I'm annoyed it took me such a long time to find it. Thanks Netflix for the recommendation! Now turn off the lights and go watch it!
