Day 318 of the challenge! Student Bodies is one of the dumbest watches ever, but man did it make me laugh!
I had no idea that this type of horror spoof existed before Scary Movie was even a thought. A reaction to the sudden rise of slasher hits in the early 80s, Student Bodies is a puddle deep breakdown of that particular sub-genre, one that assaults your intelligence with the most bottom of the barrel, absurdist humor you can think of. Think something along the lines of Airplane!, but nowhere near as clever or smart. Like, not even close.
Despite that, I guarantee any horror or slasher junkie will get a few good laughs from Student Bodies. It’s a fairly short watch, so you won’t feel like you wasted TOO much of your time on it, and honestly, I’d say the opening sequence and some of the dialogue makes it worth it.

Julie, you're not responding to my maleness.
Why do they always run away from me? It's the galoshes. They're a dead giveaway. Why do I wear them? It isn't even raining!
I’d like to kill the kid with the gum.
