Day 119 of the challenge! Look Who's Back is a hilarious political satire with a sinister undertone underneath all the laughs. Look Who's Back does an amazing (and really clever) job at breaking down the impact of Hitler's legacy on the German people. Rather than showing this breakdown from the perspective of the German people, the film has Hitler himself analyzing the people and the current political landscape, making him a celebrity in the process. This is where the film's more sinister side surfaces and we go into a very dark (and unfortunately, still relevant) place on how easy it can be to manipulate a country by stroking fears and prejudices if you have a charming smile or personality. Not learning from our past is dangerous, and Look Who's Back shows you exactly why.
