Day 103 of the challenge! Isle of Dogs is such a good boy! While I adore all of the the Wes Anderson films I have seen (I'm missing a few that I plan on catching up on later in the challenge), Isle of Dogs has become my new favorite of his. Say what you will about the cultural appropriation controversy surrounding the film (I can see where people are coming from..there are a few issues), but I enjoyed the beautiful stop motion animation and touching story about our relationships with dogs. I also happen to be a huge dog person (if you couldn't tell by my logo and social media handle), so there's bound to be some bias on my end. I'm also a huge fan of the majority of the voice cast, so there was never a doubt I was going to walk away from this one not liking it. All in all, Isle of Dogs is hilarious, moving, and a visual (dog) treat!
