Day 11 of the challenge, and I finally found the time to go down to the theater for Insidious: The Last Key. Pretty much everything I said for Insidious Chapter 3 can be applied here. Still, this one also made a pretty gnarly cinemagraph, so there's that!
Like always, there are some pretty nifty demon designs and a few inspired(ish) jump scares, but there's just nothing for me to really chew on. Repetitive scares for a repetitive plot. Plus the timeline is starting to get sort of confusing. Why does the Darth Maul demon keep popping it's head in? Beyond just to act as a cheap jump scare.
Meh. Let's see what else there is to watch.
