About Matt Keating
With the ability to quote the original Star Wars trilogy from start to finish, he's a one-man Star Wars few would pay money to come see! Matt Keating, a community college board member at Lane Community College in Eugene, OR was recently elected to the Eugene City Council, serving a four-year term starting in January.
Keating has an extensive radio and theater background, performing in community and collegiate productions of Shakespeare's King Lear, Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It and A Midsummer Night's Dream. On-air, Matt has broadcast as a disc-jockey at KTCL-Denver, 91X-San Diego, and the Mix 95.9 in Anaheim-Los Angeles, where he was awarded a "Waggie" for Best Evening Radio Host in 1999.
Matt a super delegate for the Democratic National Committee, dad to an adopted Great Dane, and he's a periodic guest of the (former) Force Fan Podcast . . .
