Day 105 of the challenge! T2 Trainspotting works on every level! It's one of those rare and long brewing sequels that celebrate what came before it while believably moving and evolving the world and characters. There is a much better sense of finality this time around, and one that ends on a more hopeful and satisfying note. If the original Trainspotting was about letting your mistakes define you, then T2 is about moving forward from those mistakes and building a better future for yourself (if can can survive the consequences that is).
